One of our customers in Kenya, Global Supply Solutions has obtained the right to utilize Del Monte’s residues to produce briquettes.
The briquettes will be used primarily as industrial fuel for heating, steam and electricity production. One example is the tea industries that have been using non sustainable wood from the forest. Using briquettes from pineapple waste will help to reduce deforestation. The briquettes will be used to dry the tea leaves.
